Legendary Goddess Sridevi, who has always come forward for the protection of dharma, came in the form of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi to bless all the devotees Goddess Sri Chowdeshwari Devi is settled here on the hill near the village of N. Gana since time immemorial, protecting the people of the surrounding villages from evil forces, always blessing them so that the people live here in happiness, peace, and prosperity, and also resolves problems and difficulties of the devotees.
The elders of our clan, along with the elders of the surrounding villages, worshiping and offer prayers to Goddess Sri Chowdeshwari Devi on the hill for the protection of their village, people, livestock, and this region.
Six panthas namely Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakra, Kamara, Ganapathya, and Saurap are practiced religiously in the Bharata. Similarly, Durga, Chamundi, Kali, Mahakali, Jaganmatha, and all the Shakti avatars are for the blessing of devotees & uphold dharma on this earth, it is her daily work of this goddess, destroying the evil and protecting the devotees. Similarly, in the form of Shri Chaudeshwari Devi, the Bhagavat Shakti is present at this place, so this place is always a new and holy place.
Similarly, Sri Chowdeshwari Devi, who resides on this hill, has always resided here and, as per the requests of the devotees, she has given them success and courage in all their endeavors and has given them all Asta Aishwarya’s. It is only right that she should always reside here on this hill near our N. Ganadakatte village for the sake of religious work and the prosperity of mankind, animals, and the protection of this environment here. Shri Chowdeshwari Devi, who is in the form of such an extraordinary power, now resides in the small temple on the hill. This goddess has given her divine presence to many, and it is her divine will that a permanent stone temple to be built at this place and worshipped in the form of a permanent idol. Many people have witnessed the divine vision and message of Shri Chowdeshwari Devi, who has resided here forever and has settled down for the welfare of all the people of this surrounding villages.
Accordingly, villagers of this area, under the guidance of several Gurus and Elders, it is decided to build a new permanent temple in stone for Sri Chowdeshwari Devi. It should be established here in a beautiful and gentle form and should provide permanent divine darshan to the devotees. It is very necessary to make necessary facilities, like drinking water, and other necessary arrangements for the devotees who come for the darshan & offer special pooja to Goddess Sri Chowdeshwari Devi.
This work has already been inspired by divine power. Accordingly, after consulting many Gurus and discussing the divine vision of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi with the help of all the devotees and the villagers of N. Ganadakatte and the surrounding villages, it has been decided to build a small, clean temple at this place to perform worship services to Sri Chowdeshwari Devi in the usual practiced manner.
Accordingly permanent stone temple will be built at this place, and the idol of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi will be installed and in order to perform daily worship services, all the devotees will join hands and contribute their heart, mind, and money to be blessed with the grace of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi. As part of this, an trust called “Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Seva Foundation (R)” has been established. Through this trust, this hill will be comprehensively transformed into a beautiful tourist destination and a holy place. We hereby request all devotees to join hands in this endeavor and provide the necessary assistance to develop it as a pilgrimage site with all facilities.
Therefore, we request you to extend yous valuble/ holy cooperation with us in conducting religious, cultural, social, and educational service activities in the temple environment at all times, and to conduct Nityahotsava, Pakshahotsava, Masotsava, and anniversaries in a proper manner, and to develop it in a way that is convenient for the devotees in a well-organized manner.
A committee has been formed to bring together the devotees who have already had the divine vision & blessing of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi and are performing the traditional worship of from their ancestors. A trust called Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Seva Foundation (R) has been formed for this purpose this trust will work as per the Provisions of Indian Trust Act, 1886 . Accordingly, we hereby appeal to all devotees to join us in comprehensively developing the hill of N. Ganadakatte village, transforming it into a beautiful, clean, religious, and divine place, so that they can perform this religious offerings to goddess and to receive the full blessings divine power of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi.
